We took the dual trips of Pompeii and the hike up Vesuvius. Pompeii is first, and it's a good thing, because you probably wouldn't have energy to do it after Vesuvius. Our guide was great; she was entertaining and knowledgable, and kept the group engaged throughout with funny stories and info you wouldn't be able to get just from looking at the ruins. Pompeii itself is quite large and fascinating (though I will say that if you only have one day to go to an ancient site, I'd give the edge to Ostia Antica, just outside of Rome). Climbing up Vesuvius is the second half of the day, and it is very much a climb. The bus ride up is scary enough, with the tight turns and very narrow roads, but the climb up the volcano is pretty strenuous (especially in 90-degree heat). But the views are undeniably incredible. If you're up to the hike, don't miss it.

This tour was the highlight of my trip. It was amazing how much we experienced in one day and I wouldn’t change a thing. The tour guides were very friendly and well organized. Vesuvius was a great way to start the day. Lunch at the winery was a perfect way to take a break and the food was delicious. We learned so much during our tour of Pompeii. Getting picked up and returned back to our hotel made things so easy. I would highly recommend this tour and would do it again if I return.

This was a very fun and exciting experience. The zipline is high and long so goes without saying that its not for those with a fear of heights. Worth planning your journey there beforehand whether you drive, taxi or walk. We decided to take the 1000+ steps to get there in the morning and arrived earlier than expected. We had to wait a little while to get ready but after that, everything worked very smoothly.

Excellent tour of the vineyards. A spectacular view, a pity it was winter and the grapes did not have leaves yet. Magdalena was an excellent guide, and very detailed. The lunch they prepared for us was delicious. We would love to come back.

Gennaro was an excellent guide for my wife and me. We really appreciated his knowledge of Pompeii, and the time he took to answer our questions.
