The Euromast is Rotterdam's icon. At 600-feet high, it’s the highest watchtower in the Netherlands and an essential part of the skyline of the city. At the Maritime Museum Rotterdam, go on a journey through the maritime past and present in modern exhibitions for adventures large and small. The traditions and customs they brought with them a century ago have become increasingly integrated into local culture and are an integral part of the wonderfully diverse city that Rotterdam has since become.

Explore The Laurenskerk, also known as Church of St. Lawrence, a symbol of the resilience of the people of Rotterdam. Be in awe of the only medieval building that has partially survived the bombing of Rotterdam in 1940 and learn about its reconstruction. Admire The Laurenskerk's classic design which is in sharp contrast with the hyper modern surrounding architecture. Take in the bronze doors of war and peace designed by Italian artist Giacomo Manzù.
