What people are saying about Bogotá
The trip was amazing. We signed up for a group tour and received a private tour with Jhon Fredy, who was an excellent guide, a knowledgeable local, great fun personality. The guide and driver were very friendly and generous. Nemecon salt tour was smaller and more personable than the Zipaquira salt mine tour, and was in a very cute little town. Guatavita was beautiful and the history of the indigenous people is rich. Jhon Fredy was a great translator. We really recommend this intimate and personable tour.
We had such a great time visiting La Chorrera and just a magical day overall. Our guide Freddy was so friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. We ended up spending extra time on the hike, getting to see some additional parts of the park, and he never rushed us or made us feel like we had to skip anything. I went on this adventure by myself, but made some new friends and we just had such a great group and wonderful day. You cannot believe this amazing natural park is just outside Bogota. Highly recommend!
I really loved this tour. Santiago was the best tour guide I could ask for. His knowledge about the history of Bogotá and Colombia is very impressive, and I learned so much about Colombia’s past, present, and the direction of the future. I enjoyed walking around La Candelaria and learning about the different squares and buildings. The Gold Museum is very cool also and is tied directly into the history of the country. Go see this tour if you can!
The coffee tour is a must do! This was our 2nd experience with Freddy and it was a great day. I loved going to a smaller organic farm vs a big manufacturer to see how they make coffee in the traditional way. It was a great scenic view to the town where the farm was and a great learning experience. Any tour from the true Colombian experience is a great option.
My first tour in Bogotá was an amazing experience. I especially have to thank Mónica and Andrea for teaching me some of the history of Bogotá and the projects of the Comuna neighborhoods. There’s plenty of beautiful views, people, and art to see. I like to be amongst the people and see the heart of a city, and this tour does that.
