Next, head to St. Mark’s Basilica, one of the world’s most stunning churches. As the n...

I think it's a good option if you want to take on the three islands in one day. There is not much information given by the tour guide so you're basically just paying to get transported between the islands. You do get to see a blown glass demonstration in Murano.
Get off the beaten tracks of Venice, away from the overcrowded places. The guide will escort you through the heart of Venice letting you discover the most fascinating and secret corners, rich with history such as the Rialto Area, with its typical markets, and the oldest church of Venice: The Church of San Giacometto (about 1200 A.D.). Our tour with Francesco was great, it was insightful and fun! He was friendly and kept a multilingual group engaged and together throughout the tour. Would definitely recommend.
Share a gondola ride with up to 5 other people and glide gracefully through the water with a master gondolier who will lead you through the beautifully mysterious canals of Venice on a peaceful 30-minute ride. The canals of Venice have different charms and appeals, which you'll experience on this tour. Float down the iconic Grand Canal, ride down minor waterways, and pass by the famous theater, La Fenice, to soak up the atmosphere.
You get to share and enjoy a gondola ride (with others) without having to rent the whole boat (which is likely to cost a bomb)
Together with a tour guide arranged in agreement with the Curia di Venezia, you can take in a full tour of the Golden Basilica, once the private chapel of the Doges of Venice, and the only one of its kind in Italy, thanks to the beautiful gold mosaics and marble inlay flooring. Comfortably seated, listen to our Guide describe the biblical scenes represented and the history and particularities of this ancient basilica. Admire the Pala d’oro, an exquisite example of Byzantine art with its thousands of gems and precious stones.
Very good tour. Small group. Meeting point on other side of square which was a little confusing. Brilliant guide.

One of the best things I did in Venice. I heard so many times not to take the gondolas, that they are overpriced. Since I’m traveling solo the romantic appeal was worth the money. But every time I saw one go by it just said “Venice” to me. I’m so glad I signed up for the touristy experience. Being in the gondola and floating through the back ways was amazing, and totally unlike walking the streets. And then the excitement of the Grand Canal was magnificent. The guide made the whole experience even better.
We love, love, loved this private food tour. We have some dietary restrictions and Giada was able to accommodate with some excellent tastes. Giada was very knowledgeable about the area and the best places to find delicious food. We would highly recommend this tour to all visitors of the Venice area. This was our third trip to Venice and we walked away feeling like we understood the city and the food options so much more.
Excellent excursion. The guide showed us central Venice district, answered all the questions we had about a life a Venetian and gave some tips. This tour was the first thing we did after the arrival so it gave us a nice introduction to the city, where everything is and it’s history.
What an awesome experience. No time wasted standing in lines. Very knowledgeable guide who loved her job. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Venice.
Great game, led us away from toruist to more interesting but less popular things.
