I loved the day. I had an amazing tour guide. He was punctual, respectful and an over joy to be with throughout the day. I had the opportunity to visit two healers - one in the morning and one in the evening, visit fountains where I cleansed myself and then break for lunch. Dwipa - tour guide took me to the best place I have ever had lunch. The view was spectacular. I had lunch on a bridge in a forest. Dwipa (tour guide) let me change my afternoon plan so I could go see a second healer and then visit a beautiful rice field. I even had the opportunity to go on the famous swing in the rice field. All together a fabulous day. Dwipa was the best tour guide I have encountered. I do travel extensively.
We were completely immersed in Balinese culture and spirituality. Karma, our guide, took us to a temple where there was no tourist and showed us all the stages of purification and meditation of the Balinese. The meeting with the Shaman was very interesting and beyond our expectations. This day was perfect. A huge thank you to our guide, Karma, who displayed a big smile throughout the day and shared with us his big knowledge of Balinese culture. He answered all of our questions and made many recommendations to us. He is really the best guide we have ever known. Thanks to Karma and GetYourGuide for this experience!
I experienced an interesting and amazing trip through Ubud, with thanks to my guide Aron, both a professional and very pleasant company. Interesting were the temple and nice painting and woodcraft places, amazing were the views over the rice fields and to the sky high thick trees in the Monkey Forest. My guide told me authentic and funny facts and was a great conversationalist, yet controlled and very respectful to me.
Balitrees is wonderful! You get to learn and practice traditional Balinese yoga in a beautiful setting with wonderful and supporting people. The food is delicious and the accommodations are nice. The two daily activities are set up with people from the village, so this is more than a yoga retreat, it is a cultural exchange. The scenery, people, and experience were beautiful in many ways.
Our guide Bisma was amazing. He was very knowledgable and took the time to explain everything and was also interested in us and was very keen to learn. His English was excellent. He went out if his way to make sure we had a great day and took us to p on aces away from the crowds which you wouldn’t know about
