This day trip was awesome! Pim was our guide and she was great! We left our hotel super early, around 3:30am but it was totally worth it! Our pickup time was really early because we were staying at the far southern end of the island, the other couple in our trip got picked up an hour later. Don't let the early time deter you, it's so worth it! We got to Samet Nangshe and had to hike up to the top. It's super steep and takes around 10-20 minutes depending on how fit you are, but it's sooo worth it for the excellent view! The long tail boat ride was so fun! I could have skipped going to the caves, not really my thing, but they were still very interesting to see.
Great day, well organised and timed. You're split into groups (based on language) and given a coloured wristband to easily identify others in your group. The guide (Don), captain and his crew are all very friendly. Refreshments offered all day along with a good lunch. The island itself is beyond beautiful, with pure white beaches and ultra fine sand. Would be my number 1 recommendation to people visiting South Thailand.
The trip to Similan Islands was amazing. Just like in the pictures. The organization of this trip was professional and above expectations. I highly recommend this to anyone considering this trip. We did this 2 adults and two children aged 7 and 5. The package included a proper breakfast, several lunch options and a dinner. Also water, coke and sprite was provided throughout the trip onboard the boat. It was perfect!
The tour guide was helpful and funny, he took lots of photos of us on the day as well. The boat ride was pretty easy and slow, so you won’t feel seasick. The food on the boat was amazing! The chef herself also teaches us how to make Papaya salad which was fun to watch. Definitely recommended this tour to everyone!
Good tour however I do think it was a little overpriced . Very bumpy on the way over on the boat I was very nervous as it was so bad so beware on the way back it was fine . They give soft drinks constantly and we got a bit of breakfast before tour which was good
