Choose from a shared or private experience and, following an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City, head towards the Vietnamese-Cambodian border and reach Tay Ninh Province. From there, take a cable car ride up to the Black Lady Mountain. Once on top, marvel at the panoramic views of the beautiful region. Black Lady Mountain consists of three major mountains covering an area of 24 kilometers and reaching an altitude of 986 meters. The beautiful temples and caves that are used to house Buddhist monks and nuns remain largely undisturbed. DAY 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho 7.30 am: The car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. One the way, you can stop for taking a photo and enjoying the nice scenery of green rice fields, the peaceful Vam Co Dong river. 9.30 am: Visit Vinh Trang pagoda – the biggest pagoda in Mekong Delta. It best reflects the soul of Mekong River Delta with a unique structural style. After that, we take a leisurely boat ride along the river to enjoy fresh air and escape the busy town. See the typical stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Go to Tortoise islet for lunch in the orchard garden with local fresh specialties. Then, the cruise through the shadows of the water coconut trees will take you to Ben Tre. Come to visit the traditional house: enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea with lemon when listening to the Southern Vietnamese folk music (performed by the locals). Visit a family business to learn how to make coconut candy. Go for a walk through the fruit plantation and villages to enjoy the natural scenery, observe the pastoral life and take nice photos. Arrive to Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel. Free time to visit Ninh Kieu Wharf, Can Tho Market or taste the delicious local dishes. DAY 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City 7.00 am: pick you up in hotel in Can Tho after breakfast. You will take the boat trip to along on the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River and visit the amazing Cai Rang floating market. You get to experience water commerce from the large cargo vessels to smaller sampans weave. Try some of the amazing, unique local food and to take a closer look at life on a boat. After exploring the floating market, you will wander around the village, see the orchard garden and try your best to cross a Monkey bridge which is built by only one bamboo tree. Besides that, you have a chance to experience how to they make rice vermicelli noodle. Stop for lunch before the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City. 5.00 pm: Arrive to Ho Chi Minh City. After pick-up from your centrally located hotel you will be driven to Central Pier. Board the speedboat and start your journey towards the Mekong Delta. Enjoy fresh tropical fruits and mineral water on board, and a light breakfast will be served on the morning tour. On the way, you will enjoy the fresh air and observe the pure beautiful landscape. Your guide will explain to you the daily life of local people who live along the riverbanks.  Disembark the speedboat to visit a shrimp farm where you will learn how the locals raise shrimps. Starting with a pickup from your hotel in District 1 or District 3 in Ho Chi Minh City or from the convenient meeting point, depart Saigon as you drive through the pleasant countryside before arriving at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Before entering the tunnels, watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed then spend the next hour exploring the underground maze. Also on display are various traps, the remains of an American tank, and numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. You’ll then return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving at approximately 1 PM to enjoy a lunch of beef or chicken noodles before embarking on your Ho Chi Minh City tour. Start by admiring the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, built between 1863 and 1880 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Remarkably every stone used in its creation was shipped from France to Vietnam and its two 40m towers, topped with iron spires, dominate the city’s skyline. See also the Central Post Office, the country’s largest post office and another example of French colonial architecture. Then, move on to see Independence Palace — also known as Reunification Palace — one of the most important buildings in the city. Here on April 30, 1975 the American War officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. Next, visit the War Remnants Museum — formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes — for a poignant display of the futility of war. Some of the black and white photography in the “Requiem” exhibition dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict is particularly touching. The courtyard outside contains the spoils of war, namely rusting jets, tanks, and cannons captured from the American military machine. The next stop will be at Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the most atmospheric temples in the city where statues of surreal divinities and grotesque heroes are contained. After that, drive to Ben Thanh Market, the bustling market popular with tourists primarily due to its selection of goods and central location. The tour finishes at approximately 6 PM when you will be transferred back to your hotel or you can choose to stay at the market and make your own way back.
