  • Pompeii Guided Walking Tour With Entrance Ticket

    1. Pompeii Guided Walking Tour With Entrance Ticket

Get ready to explore the excavation site where, gradually over the last few centuries, the Ancient Roman town has been uncovered. Many of its landmarks are remarkably well-preserved after being buried by volcanic ash for nearly 2 millennia. On this walking tour, you will discover what everyday life was like for a Roman in the town and you will see the Forum, the Thermal Baths, Lupanare, and even streets with shops displaying signs selling produce including wine. With the help of a professional guide, you will learn more about the history of this town and what happened on that day in 79 AD when the nearby Mount Vesuvius erupted.

The tour was great, instant confirmation, everything clear about the meeting point. The guide spoke really good English and we all had earphones, so that we can all hear her well. The guide also had a lot of information and pictures to share. It was a very well organized tour, we didn't wait anywhere for too long and it was designed to truly get the maximum out of those two hours and see and learn as much as you can. I'm very happy to have chosen this company and this tour. Pompeii ruins are amazing and really a must-see place. It is incredible how well preserved it is and how even today it looks like a city with streets, houses. It's not like other archeological places, where you recognize just bits and pieces, here you really get a feeling of how the life looked like.

Our driver, Francesco, and the archeologist, Diego, who was our guide, were both fantastic: very polite and always on time, with an excellent sense of humour. I'll never forget our visit and the vivid as well as entertaining, at the same time scholarly descriptions of ancient culture. Thank you, Francesco and Diego!

Such an amazing, knowledgeable tour! Had a bit of rain and got a bit wet but it was all part of a great experience (maybe pack an umbrella as they don’t sell them inside. Good for sun or rain!). We dropped luggage at the entry of the Pompeii site and all was good. Thanks again!

The visit to Pompeii is spectacular, especially if it is explained by a guide like Andrea, a person who not only knows a lot but also transmits it in a perfect, fun and very entertaining way.
