After pickup from the meeting point in central Brasov, you’ll head straight into the Transylvanian forest for your brown-bear-watching adventure. Among the world’s largest carnivores, male brown bears can weigh up to 750 pounds, with an estimated 5,500 individuals living in the Carpathian region of Romania.  After arriving in the forest, your guide, an experienced forest ranger, will take you on a 20-minute walk to the hideaway from which you’ll watch the bears.
