What people are saying about Province of Palermo

Great tour of Agrigento - Joshua our driver/guide was fantastic! As a group of 8 we all thought it would be beneficial to have a tour guide at the Valley of the Temples for an additional 15 euros each. Organised smoothly by Joshua - it turned out to be the best idea! We had a brilliant, friendly, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable Mexican guide who showed us around the amazing UNESCO sites and she made our day! The stop off at Stair of the Turks and our lunch spot on the way back to Palermo were also a lovely bonus. A great day with a great bunch of people :)

Joshua was our driver and had excellent knowledge of the area. He spent the drive answering our many questions about Sicilian living, history, and culture. He pointed out many aspects of the landscape along the drive and recommended a local restaurant in Palermo that ended up being our best meal! The Valley of the Temples was a beautiful side trip from the city. This historical park is quite astounding with its rich history and sea views. Quite the sight to see! Thank you to Joshua for making this trip possible for us!

Marco was a very knowledgeable guide, which told us many interesting things about the past and present of Sicilia during the drive to Agrigento. Best use an audio guide for the visit.

This is an amazing town to visit and our guide, Marco, taught us all so much about the surrounding area. If you do one thing, this is what you should do.

A must-see in PALERMO with the Palatine Chapel and the City catacombs undergoing renovation
