Start the day with pick up from your hotel in Baku then set off to the Azgranata Winery, one of the largest fruit juice producers in the South Caucasus region, established in 2011. Begin with a tour of the vineyards, and grape and pomegranate gardens which have built on a plot of 5.5 hectares. Then, explore the winery and processing plant. See how the fruit is processed and alcohol is produced and bottled.  Before you return, taste the traditional pomegranate wine of Azerbaijan along with different wines made from local and international grapes.

Your day will start with pick-up from your hotel in Baku, at which stage you will receive an explanation of what you will see on the tour with the aid of a map. You will then depart from Baku, before passing through the Shamakhi and Ismayilli regions whilst being briefed on information regarding these places. You will stop on the way to see colorful foods, and will also be given complimentary snacks on the way. As well as wine, stop to enjoy some Samovar tea with local baklava. Afterwards, finish up with local lunch Once you reach the winery, you will be met by a winery employee and guided through the facility where you will see the vineyards, the first wine museum and the process of wine making. Afterwards, you will have the chance to taste delicious Savalan wines accompanied with snacks, and can even buy the wines as well. You will then depart the winery to have a delicious local lunch at Qabala, and after finishing your lunch, you will depart back to Baku where you will be dropped off back to your hotel.

The trip starts with pickup from your accommodation in Baku and heads towards the Shamakhi region. Admire the stunning scenic views of the countryside along the drive and immerse yourself in the natural landscapes as you travel to one of Azerbijan’s newest wineries. Wine growing in the Shamakhi region has been undergoing a new era of development in recent years and the particular winery on this tour was set up to produce organic wines. A wine factory with a vast area covering of 4398 square meters was built on the vineyard within the wine complex and was put into operation in 2018. The winery aims to produce 1.4 million liters of wine per year and harvests an array of native and foreign grape varieties, all chemical free. Enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard and learn about the grapes that are grown here to produce the wines. Then wander around the winery and watch the process of wine production as well as storage in the cellar. Finally, enjoy a tasting session of Shirvan wines and learn about to distinguish the flavors between grapes. After your finish the visit to the winery, you’ll next have delicious local lunch.

Your tour will begin as you are picked up from any address within Baku, before being transferred to Ismayilli. On the way, you will enjoy the scenery while your guide talks about wine-making both in general and pertaining to Azerbaijan. You will also receive information about places you pass along the way. You will then proceed to see the wine-making process, before tasting Chabiant wines accompanied by snacks. The Chabiant Winery is located at the scenery of Ismailli Region, right at the Southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus at an altitude of 750 meters. The vineyards here are ideally set for natural rain, with the hills at the perfect temperature, alternating between sunny days and chilly nights. The melted snow from the magnificent Niyaldag Mountains (2,063 meters) is the only source of water, and it nourishes the fertile soil all year round.  The local wine-making history dates back more than 5,000 years, making this place very attractive for tourists. With 250 hectares of vineyards overlooking Greater Caucasus, you will take a tour throughout the winery and visit the wine cellar, famous as the largest within the ex-Soviet Union.
