Today, Zelve is an open-air museum open to the public. A lot to see and a lot to picture. Uchisar Castle Area Get ready to be amazed because this view will blow your mind off. At the center of cappadocia we have one of the biggest fairy chimneys all around cappadocia and it is the uchisar castle. We will spend some time under the castle and you will be well informed about it. You can take a lot of beautiful pictures and have enough free time to enjoy it. Lunch We will have a break for our lunch fix or open buffet in a decent restaurant Avanos Pottery Workshop Avanos is the house of the pottery and this will be the highlight of your day. We will find ourselves at a pottery workshop at avanos and there will be expert people about pottery making First they will give you some information about it and than they will show you how to make a pottery and than let people in our group to try it (Maybe you?) Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley) At the imagination valley you there will be a lot of different shaped rocks looking like various things such as Camel, Snail, Penguin etc. At this place you will be able to test your imagination and decide if you are an imaginative person or not.

Get picked up from your hotel in Ürgüp in the morning and begin your journey on an air-conditioned bus. As you set off, your guide will tell you about the sights you're about to visit. Your first stop is at the Göreme Panorama. Enjoy panoramic views over the town of Göreme and snap some stunning photos of the area’s fairy chimneys. Next, you'll stop at Derinkuyu to visit the underground city. This is the largest and most popular among the 36 underground cities that can be found in Cappadocia. They were originally built by Christians escaping persecution. Wander the city's rooms, including a winery and kitchens. As you explore, learn fascinating facts about Derinkuyu from your guide. Afterward that, continue toward Ihlara Valley, which is a 14Km green river canyon. The bus will drop you off and, together with your guide, you will enjoy a 3.5km walk along the river. There, you will get the chance to observe Ağaçaltı cave church that was built in the 4th century and includes paintings from the 10th century. Next, stop at a riverside local restaurant you will enjoy a much needed lunch break. Recharge your batteries and relax before continuing your excursion. Cappadocia (Pass By) Lying in south central Turkey, the moonscaped region of Cappadocia, southeast of Ankara, is most famous for unique geological features called fairy chimneys. The large, cone-like formations were created over time by erosion of the relatively soft volcanic ash around them. Past cultures have dug into them to create dwellings, castles (like Uchisar) and even entire underground cities like Kaymakli and Derinkuyu, used as hiding places by early Christians. Nearby Kayseri is the gateway to the area. Goreme Open-Air Museum The Goreme Open-Air Museum resembles a vast monastic complex composed of scores of refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own fantastic church. It is obviously the first sight to be visited by any traveler in Cappadocia, standing as it does in the very center of the region with easy access from all directions. Pasabag Pasabag in Cappadocia is located on the road to Zelve, coming from Goreme or Avanos. Highly remarkable earth pillars can be seen here, in the middle of a vineyard, hence the name of the place which means: the Pacha's vineyard. Pacha means "General", the military rank, in Turkish and it is a very common nick name. This site is also called Monks Valley. The name was derived from some cones carved in tuff stones which stand apart. Currently, there is a vineyard and a number of tuff cones standing right next to the road. Pigeon Valley is a popular tourist destination located in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. The valley is known for its beautiful scenery, rock-cut dovecotes, and hiking trails. Some of the highlights of Pigeon Valley include: Rock-cut dovecotes: The valley is known for its rock-cut dovecotes, which were carved out of the soft volcanic rock by ancient people. It takes total 2 hours and if you want we can visit local winery on the way. An extremely event filled day of experiencing the best Cappadocia has to offer. Our tour guide Faruk was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything in detail which really helped us appreciate and learn about the Turkish culture, tradition and history.
