Whilst traveling along the Verdon (named for its astonishing turquoise green color), enjoy spectacular views of the 700-meter-deep canyon. Afterward, move on to the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, nestled under a rocky cliff and surrounded by mountains from all sides. Known for its rich history in ceramic craftsmanship, you will have free time here to explore Moustiers at your leisure. Discover the earthenware in the stores, and buy souvenirs before lunch in one of the terrace cafes. Photograph the world-famous lavender platters, or enjoy the lake of St. Croix, an artificial treasure of clear water that is one of the most beautiful lakes of Provence. Then, marvel at the endless lavender fields at the foot of the Alps and stop to take unique and memorable pictures with this impressive backdrop. Stop to smell the light and enchanting lavender aroma surrounding you as you do. Our family estate opens its doors every day from June 1st to August 31st. As soon as you arrive, you will be lulled by the sound of cicadas and the sweet smell of lavender. We will share with you the family history of the domain and we will explain to you the particularity of this flower so emblematic of the South of France. You will then be free to visit the lavender field. Chiliennes are at your disposal to relax under the Provencal sun. We also have very pleasant shaded areas. Many stops will be included by the fields in bloom. Stop at a farmer/ producer's place with lavender and lavandin essential oils, olive oil and lavender honey. Stop in the perched village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, so famous for its earthen ware workshops (free time for visit and lunch not included). In the afternoon, continue to the breathtaking opening of the Canyon of the River Verdon. Stop in the lavender fields for a photo. Have free time in the picturesque village of Sainte Croix du Verdon by Sainte Croix Lake, and possibly swim or sunbathe before going back to Aix-en-Provence.

Spend an afternoon discovering the Luberon region's most charming villages. Depart from Avignon in an air-conditioned minibus and explore the picturesque villages of Lacoste, Roussillon, and Gordes. From the meeting point in Avignon, set off to the village of Lacoste, once the residence of the Marquis de Sade, for a photo stop. Your tour guide will show you the must-see landscape of Luberon. On the way to Roussillon, take a look at the Roman bridge Pont Julien, one of the numerous Roman remains in Provence. Arrive in Roussillon and admire how the village is built at the top of an ochre cliff, as well as the ochre-washed façades of its buildings. Next, head toward Gordes, another village erected on the top of a cliff, and discover its fortified castle and church. See the village's typical houses, built from the rock on which they stand, before returning to Avignon.

Depart from Aix-en-Provence, drive along the scenic roads winding across the fields of flowers. Arrive on the wide Plateau of Valensole with its 800 square meters plateau, it specializes in the cultivation of lavandin, a hybrid lavender plant as well as cereals. It's nicknamed 'The Granary of the Region.' You will have many photo stops by the lavender fields in bloom and enjoy the breathtaking sights and scents. Stop at a farmer/ producer's place and learn everything about the cultivation, distillation and the properties of pure lavender and lavandin.  Have an opportunity to purchase pure lavender and lavandin essential oils, olive oil and lavender honey directly from them.
