This is the only place in the world where the underground landscape can be traversed on an electric train and where you can meet this underground kingdom’s most famous inhabitant, the proteus (olm), up close.  From here the tour extends to the Predjama Castle which reigns over the surrounding area in the idyllic village of Predjama. This picturesque, magnificent, defiant, mysterious and impregnable castle has been perched in the middle of a vertical 123-meter high cliff for more than 800 years. Its romantic appeal is further emphasized by the idyllic Lokva River, which disappears into the underground world deep below the castle. As the only preserved cave castle in Europe, the Predjama Castle offers a unique insight into the building techniques and resourcefulness of people in the Middle Ages, who found a safe harbor for themselves right at the entrance of the cave. During a siege that took place in the 15th century, the castle provided a refuge for its best known and most notorious owner, Erazem of Predjama. The legend of the courageous robber baron Erazem, who remained undefeated until one of his servants betrayed him, is still in people’s minds, inspiring and alluring as ever.

Great day trip with nice guides, good food and a varied program. For the price, the trip is highly recommended. For lunch on the Lim Canal there was a choice of grilled fish or meat (chicken and bratwurst) with coleslaw, tomatoes and bread, which tasted delicious. They even provided complimentary wine and water. The stops in Rovinj and Vrasar are definitely worth a visit. Both swimming in the sea and shopping were possible. Unfortunately, drinks on board are a bit expensive (small water €2.50), which is usually the case. We liked it very much, gladly again!

The English-speaking guide was especially nice. He spoke very interestingly and did not tire us too much with the facts. We took the full package and were very satisfied, because we got to see and experience a lot in a limited time.

excellent tour. easy to book, loads of space, stayed out longer cos we came across a fabulous pod of dolphins frolicking in the sea. Truly magical

excellent bike trip & wine tasting! Daniel was a great guide! Bikes were in great shape. We had a great time. Would recommend to all!

We had a wonderful time :) Thanks to the German-speaking guide, we learned a lot about Venice. I can definitely recommend this trip.
