Observe the amazing creatures from a vessel that does not frighten them or disturb their natural habitat. Be surrounded by pods of up to 30 dolphins that sometimes put on a show by jumping high into the air. Home to up to 5 different species of dolphins, including bottlenose dolphins, the waters just off the island’s coast are ideal to marvel at these lovable creatures. While the bottlenose dolphins are the easiest to spot, other species inhabit the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, including rough-toothed dolphins, striped dolphins, and common dolphins. As wild animals, views cannot be guaranteed, but there is a 95% chance that you will encounter the animals on your trip. Get an optional swimming break and snorkel with turtles and bull rays in a bay only accessible by kayak as a bonus. Usually, within a few minutes, curious turtles arrive and get very close, swimming around and in between you. Also, bull rays regularly glide elegantly along the sea bed underneath you.

Meet your guide at the port of San Miguel, where the jet skis will be waiting for you. Get equipped with all the necessary gear, including a life jacket, snorkeling mask, goggles, and a wetsuit. Listen briefly about how to drive safely, then embark! Pass through different spots such as the Yellow Mountain, the bay of Costa del Silencia, Las Galletas, the lighthouse of Punta Rasca, the Palm Mar Cliff, Los Cristianos, and much more. If choosing the 2-hour tour option, make a stop to dip into the ocean and try out your snorkeling gear halfway through. Travel back in time on a tour from the south of Tenerife to the nearby island of La Gomera. Catch the fast ferry to San Sebastián de La Gomera. The night sky over the Canary Islands, especially as seen from Mount Teide, is known for being one of the best places in the world to admire and study the stars. On this 8-hour tour you’ll see the constellations and magical shooting stars. Your specialist stargazing guide will help you to understand and enjoy the sky at night from an extraordinary landscape. During the excursion you’ll stop for dinner at Bodegas Reverón in Vilaflor village, at 1,414 meters above sea level. You’ll be treated to a typical Canarian dinner and you’ll be able to try different types of wines produced in this unique area.

First, choose from an optional pickup from your hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife or make your own way to the meeting point at the port. The skipper will welcome you aboard the Cruz del Sur, a spacious 14-meter yacht. Listen as he explains the itinerary of the excursion and gives some information about safety measures. Then, set off to explore the whale and dolphin sighting area off the coast of Tenerife.  As you sail, keep your eyes peeled for these wonderful marine creatures. If you're lucky, you may even see some turtles. After spotting the wildlife, approach the coast and anchor the boat. Enjoy the opportunity to bathe or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters whilst the crew prepares lunch. Snorkeling equipment is provided.  For lunch, enjoy a delicious spread of typical, local food. Later, return to the port, sailing along the coastline and admiring the protected natural site of Punta de Rasca. Arrive at the port and bid farewell to the crew. Either your tour concludes, or you can benefit from the return transfer back to your hotel by selecting the option with hotel pickup and drop-off.

Explore the very best of Tenerife on a full-day excursion that takes you on a guided tour around the island’s perimeter. First you’ll head up the west coast to the very top of the island, to Los Gigantes (giant cliffs), where you’ll take in the majestic views. Next on your itinerary will be Icod de Los Vinos, home of the enormous Dragon Tree, which is Tenerife’s most famous attraction. Puerto de La Cruz or El Puerto, as its known locally, is the next stop where your guide will recommend a restaurant for lunch (not included in the tour price). After lunch you will have some free time to discover this city that overlooks the ocean and is surrounded by fields, banana plantations and vineyards and, off course, always under the watchful eye of El Teide. Your tour around the island ends with a visit to the Basílica in Candelaria, best known for its Black Madonna. In the main square by the ocean you’ll see statues of the Guanche Menceyes, the first inhabitants of the Canaries. There will be photos stops throughout your full-day tour.

Benefit from pick-up in the south of Tenerife, and then climb Mount Teide through the lovely local villages. Journey through a beautiful pine forest that provides precious water and arrive at an unforgettable plateau with a lunar-like landscape. Ascend above the clouds at an altitude of approximately 2,000 meters above sea level and marvel at the volcanic rock formations surrounding you. The beginners Discover Scuba program always starts at 9 AM at the dive center, with the exception if there is nothing setup prior with the customer, like pick up time or afternoon program. The dive center is located in El Fraile, a small distance away from Las Galletas on the southern end of Tenerife. The center is easy accessible with a rental car and there is ample parking space. If there is need for we can offer pick-up if your accommodation is situated in Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Palm Mar, Costa del Silencio or Las Galletas The program starts with a meet and greet, filling in the documents required for the program, explaining the time table, after that, you will receive a short introduction to the basic skills involved in scuba diving and the dive equipment that will be used during your dive experience. Together with one of the staff members, you will try the dive equipment for the dive and will get familiar with the equipment you are using before entering the water. The briefing is always given at the dive center by instructors or Discover Scuba leaders and the same dive professional(s) will join you for the dive activity. When everything is packed you will proceed to the chosen dive location. There you will receive a short recap of what is told at the dive center . Together with one of the staff members, you will prepare your dive equipment for the dive. Hands-on assembly of the gear yourself (under supervision) will get you familiar with the equipment you are using before you enter the water. Your professional dive guides will then show you how to get used to breathing using the scuba gear. Once in the water, there will be a few small exercises to make sure you are comfortable. Then, under close guidance, you will be free to explore the fascinating underwater world of Tenerife and say hello to the “colorful locals”. The dive is in general between 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the air consumption and comfort level. Upon return to the dive center, the staff will collect up and wash down all the equipment used. Once having returned, you will be free to ask questions or share your experience with others.
