1. Genova : Boat Tour to Camogli, San Fruttuoso, & Portofino

Experience a full-day boating excursion and discover three of the most charming villages in Liguria: Camogli, San Fruttuoso, and Portofino. You can choose to visit all 3 villages, or just stop and enjoy one or two of them when booking. The ferry connects the charming fishing villages of Camogli and San Fruttuoso while offering visitors a boat trip around Golfo Paradiso with stunning views and unforgettable sights. Depart from Genova in the morning aboard the motorboat Città di Camogli and enjoy panoramic coastal views on your way to the harbor of Camogli. If you choose to visit San Fruttuoso, you will find a charming fishing village located on the promontory of Portofino and the Abbey of San Fruttuoso. After leaving the dock from Camogli, passengers will catch sight of beautiful views of the tiny village. Next, you'll be able to admire the majesty of Portofino mountain, the pudding-stone landmark outcrop of Punta Chiappa. Then you'll pass the exclusive hamlet of San Fruttuoso, followed by the famous Hermit's Grotto and the Cala dell'Oro. Both of these locations are protected areas where boats are prohibited. In Portofino, you will find the awe-inspiring blue sea, the lush green vegetation at the edge of the cliffs, and the elegance of villas along the coast. Passengers often sight striped bottle-nosed dolphins and the other dolphins that live in these coastal waters.

2. From Genoa: Camogli Day Trip by Ferry

Hop aboard a ferry in Genoa and take a 1-hour trip to Camogli, a typical fishermen's village. Avoid the road traffic and enjoy more time to explore the area. Soak up the coastal atmosphere of the Golfo Paradiso before returning to Genoa at the end of the day. While in Camogli, admire the tall and narrow houses that overlook the beach, and wander down the narrow streets of the village. Stop for focaccia and fresh fish (at your own expense) at one of the local restaurants.

What people are saying about Camogli

We had amazing trip. We enjoyed traveling by boat, had a beautiful view. We definitelly recommend to stay longer in Camogli (till 14:00), it's perfect place to have a lunch, sightseening and stay on one of the best beaches in region. In San Fruttuoso there is not so many things to do, even in the sea there were so many jellyfish, no one could swim in it. So we stayed in San Fruttuoso about 40minutes and then we went to Portofino for 1,5 hours and I thing that was just enough.

The boat tour was our favorite thing to do! It's easy to find, flexible in the sense that you have many options for how long you stay at each of the three destinations! And you can always go to all three which we did. Our favorite was San Fruttuoso and Camogli. Portofino was super cute, but mostly for shopping and fancy dining. There was a local beach but it was a hike away and we'd just done beautiful beach in San Fruttuoso without a home.

Brilliant experience, the crew were lovely and the captain really made the trip special by allowing us all time to see the incredible pod of dolphins swimming by and playing in the waves made by the boat. highly recommend this trip, the stops were beautiful, with Camogli being our particular favourite!

Great experience by sea. Time available to visit three very suggestive places.
